The United Nations Environment programme is organizing the Hotel Energy Solutions (HES) workshop on Friday 17th of June from 9am to 6pm. This one day workshop aims to train trainers on increasing the use of energy efficiency and renewable energy in SME hotels, which will help hotels to reduce operational costs, increase competitiveness and sustainability and assist in alleviating the industry’s impact on climate change. The workshop also includes training on the use of an energy efficiency Toolkit and carbon calculator developed by UNEP and its partners under the European Union funded HES project.
Participants’ profile: Energy training and research institutes, European National Cleaner Production Centers (NCPCs), tourism and hospitality training centers, among other entities.
